| To the Pritchard Clan, What is all this crap? I finly found yo skunks. Ya didn't think yo could hid ferever didya? Ifin I ever shake free from these her beartooth hills i'ma comin to visit ya en take all yer hair (what's left of it). It's been a long winter en I'm hungry and mean as a ratler stuck in the sun fer too long. My hoss ken shoot straiter then you ken Lewis, and i've seen smaller feet on a moose Katherine. As soon as i kin remember where i put my gun ima hunting yuz up. |
| Frank and Linda, Just thought I’d say Hello, since it has been a while since we last set foot into the woods together. It has been a long winter, but not a bad one so far. I can’t wait until St. Patrick’s day weekend as I will be going up to Kalamazoo for the trade show with Mike and Suzanne Holescher, and a group of others to have a good look around and maybe find something that I don’t really need and buy it. Did not have a good hunt during gun season this past year?. Went up to Mike Pullen’s to hunt during gun season and primitive as well. This was my first trip back into the woods since I had both knees replaced two years ago this past Feb. I will look forward to seeing everyone at some point in time this season. My wife and I have are home of the past 32 years up for sale, as the hood we live in is really getting to be pretty bad. We bought a condo in Pickerington about seven miles from our present home. This whole moving thing is a big pain in the backside. It has a large basement so I will still have plenty of room for all my gear. How have all of you been? I really enjoy looking at all the pictures that you have placed on the Morgan County GNAR web site. It helps just to look at all the pictures and see the many people I have come to meet and call friend over the past years. If you could send me Hawk and Steve Pickens phone numbers and addresses I would greatly thank you for the help. I need to buy a diamond fly and I know they both have one and would like to ask the size and the name of the supplier. I’m going to do a few weekend walk-ins this season and don’t want to lug in all the big stuff anymore. Thanks again for being so nice to me as we have shot and thrown many times together over the past years. Once again I hope this finds you and Frank well and will look forward to seeing you in the future. Until we pass on the trail again take care, keep your powder dry and may GOD keep you safe. Mike Schott “AKA” Sparky |

| Hi! I'm a history teacher from PA, doing some background research for an independent travel study that I just wrapped up. I stumbled across your site as I looked for info on the Cumberland Gap, and I liked what you had to say about wishing you could just step back in time - I say that so often! Anyway, when I was at the Cumberland Gap I hiked part of the Wilderness Road up to the Gap, and it's pretty impressive, especially considering what it used to look like when US 25E went through there. If you haven't had a chance to go back yet, you should go. |

| Hello Been a spell since I've seen the light of your fire here. Meet you in Lovingston Va. back in 2000. Been out of this interest for all intents an purposes for a couple of years. Heart and age ain't what they use to be. Good to be able to stop and visit places like this though. Keeps the foot itch down and the smell of a camp fire in my mind. As the Irish man said may your troubles be less and your blessings more and nothing but happiness come through your door. God bless. Dan formerly known as fleatrapper. |

| WHISKEEEEEEY |
| There once was a bear who was
chillin, In Ontario, Frank was sure willin, But Linda was first, with her rifle burst, Now Frank is left plannin his killin. Next year in Ontario maybe, or Maine if the season is such, Competition is fierce, a bear he must pierce, With a bow or a knife if he must. Their story is never quite ended, Frank's plight will surely be mended And truly, it only is Just. What more can I say, Frank will hunt there all day, Cause Lin with a bear is too much! Congrats! |
| Hi it's me just haven't signed in a while talk to you soon. |
| hello all kindred spirits. im from pennsyltucky [western pa] this is an old appl. term used by old-timers in the know.ive been trekking to historical and sacred places since i could walk i'm a collector of indian artifacts and my search takes me to many places. i'm the author of "pennsyltucky handbook of indians". i published the book myself, 500, numbered copies.i do a little knapping, and go to flint ridge and letchworth, and of course i confer the ooga-booga ceremony here in pennsyltucky. i done a lot of exploring by foot and canoe and im always looking for that spiritual rock shelter. hal sherman turned me on to this site, |
| Congrats on your bear! Too bad Frank hit a branch, two skins would've made a better rug! |
| Now that you've got your bear, I guess you need a moose now. Heard moose taste better and make great mocs! |

| Choice Christian Greetings! What a
wonderful web site you have. I've been doin' primitive camping with the Frontiersmen Camping Fellow- ship for 20 years and have always had a hankering to camp with some other "primitive" people. I bookmarked your site last year and will check it from time to time to see if there is an event close by that I can come to I play a lot of "Old-Time" music and just recently have come out with a cd. I'm trying to get music on my site and have just about mastered it. I play Banjo and harmonica simultaniously. Thanks for the tour, I can smell the leaves love in Christ, Wil Taylor |
| Absolutely love your site. Get a real
charge out of the hunting stories and the photos and details of your gang's treks. The other items are always enjoyable too. |

of deer we had to get that out of the way first. Very Successfully, If
may say so,@ bucks fell from the crack of the mild blow of the 62 cal.
English rifle. As you may realize we are high on the hog with venison
this winter.Well my work lap top is buzzing so I must part. Would just

| hi, goodbye thank you |
| Hello Granny Lin, This is the first time I have visited this site of yours, but I always check out the Ohio CoHT webpage and messageboard. You do a very fine job with btoh the Ohio CoHT page and your own page. They are two of the finest webpages I have seen concerning our lifestyle/hobby. The Tribute to Frank's Grandfather had me choked up as I read it. It would have really been great to know such a man. I feel that one of the projects to protect the history of the people of his era should be to have them write down a history or bio of his/her life. Many of these people are leaving this life everyday and very few of them have related what they had lived through. Keep up the great work Granny Lin, ~Rob |

Maybe we will meet around the council fire some time. Medicine Walker |
| good sight and some goood music |
| Your photos show the kind of people who
would make good crew on a flatboat voyage down the Ohio River to celebrate the bicentennial of the State of Ohio. We are taking applications from families who would spend one week of their vacation on board on one leg of the voyage, between August 2002 and June 2004. |

| I like your site. After being out of the hobby for a while, I am back in with both feet. My advice is to avoid the politics that arise to spoil the good times. |

| I found your site after a search for
OAKRIDGE where I teach. Your Oakridge and the Oakridge Carnival give no point of contact with the people of OAKRIDGE, USA. Can you put me in touch with either? I still find your History "strange" - my school is only 130 years old. My house was built in 1730 and I worship in a cathedral where parts of the building are over 1000. years old! However I am fascinated by your country and have enjoyed my visits there. I have good friends in Montana and Idaho. Keep up the good work. Bruce Burn Headteacher, Oakridge Parochial School, UK |
| So a bit of advice to all my aging friends.
Go ahead and do something you think you are too old to do. You will most
likely feel young again, even, if it is for just for 8 minutes. It's
worth the effort. Oh , I almost forgot... Till next time I'll try it Chuck(no elk) Leonard |
| great info, enjoyed your pictures |
| Just visiting your website and wanted to
say hello. Hope to meet you all at the eastern in a couple of weeks til
then as you say keep on trekking. Dan |
| Great hammock! Wish my campfire was as nice! |
| I really enjoy your site and the links. |
| I see you uprooted & re-located but them there E-tracks is easy to foller. |
| A really great site! Enjoyed our visit(too
short) at the bean shoot. Would really like to enter your link on my
page, and have you do the same, but I barely got my poor little page
loaded (designed and loaded from Home Publishing), and don't have a way
to get back in there. Maybe when I up-grade my site, and get a regular
ftp . Anyway - Keep up the great work, hope our path's cross again soon.
